Weedny is a student who joins us at the Spirit of Huntington Art Center from Life’s WORC. Weedny was inspired by Wilfredo Lam, a Cuban artist known for his hybrid figures. The use of various colors in Weedny’s subject is reminiscent of Lam’s style.
