Matthew E. is a student who joins us at the Spirit of Huntington Art Center from SYJCC Butler. Matthew was inspired by Wilfredo Lam, a Cuban artist known for his hybrid figures. Lam's depiction of the human figure in a colorful form is reflected in Matthew's artwork.
