Sal L. is a student who joins us at the Spirit of Huntington Art Center from MidIsland YJCC Adler. Sal was inspired by Jean-Michel Basquiat, one of the leading figures of Neo-Expressionism, an art movement that reasserted the human figure back into contemporary art. Along with figures, Basquiat uses dinosaurs in his work which is visible in Sal's artwork.
